“ My husband and I went here for the first time. Everything was excellent from the friendly service to the atmosphere. Love the vintage clock vibe that gives a nod to the towns history. Plenty of space to move around and sit including an outdoor patio. We enjoyed a flight and their seasonal raspberry espresso martini. The highlight of the visit was the pizza which was amazing! I highly recommend going here hungry as it is not to be missed! ”
“ This review is a part of my quest of visiting all CT breweries. This was my second visit here. The brewery occupies a big space in a clocktown building. It consists of two separate big indoor rooms and a huge patio. There are plenty of parking spaces near the building as well. The brewery has a full kitchen and a bar, both of them are awesome. I spent a lot of time here during my last visit and tried their pizza, fries sampler and a cocktail. All of them were tasty. My only complaint is that my fries contained an extra ingredient of a cooks hair. While there are no rules for cooks to wear a hair cap on US, the brewery would benefit from it. I came here for the beer and for this review I tried all of them. You can order a beer flight of either four or three beers. The beers are fine. Nothing extraordinary, but they are solid. There were plenty of different styles on tap to choose from a lager, a kolsch, porters, a sour and several IPAs. They also have an option to pour their lager through a nitro pipe, creating a tasty layer of even foam. This is a perfect hangout spot. If you have a private event, then they have a whole separate room to accommodate. But I would recommend to take more control of the kitchen to reduce human presence in the food. ”
“ I came here for a drink and lunch before seeing a play in the nearby theatre and was pleasantly surprised at how large and nice the place was! On the drive up to it I wasnt expecting much but was easily proven wrong! The outside seating was large and the inside even more so. There was a full bar and plenty of other beverage options available if you didnt want beer. The food menu especially the Sunday brunch was also diverse and filled with others. My husband and I both got flights and tried 8 different beers between the two of us. All the options were good, I especially liked the hefeweizen. The pricing was reasonable and everyone friendly. I recommend a stop in! ”
“ Been here numerous times and never write a review. The wings here according to the wife are awesome snd I agree. The drinks are a Beach Bum Marg, my beer is the Thomaston Lager, a German style pils.. we ordered the Fireball pizza, which is very good as well. So if youre coming up RT8 or on Route 6 heading towards or coming into Thomaston, give these guys a stop. Located in the former Seth Thomas factory, youll enjoy patio seating and the rustic, factory themed interior. The AC is on and working good. 2 thumbs up.. ”
“ We have been here like 4 or 5 times. Its a very cool place, VERY family friendly. The beer is really good, food as well. They also make some great martinis. We have always have an attentive server. So, we gave it 5 stars. We will be back... ”
“ Awesome beer, amazing wings, friendly staff, spacious interior, would come again! 2024Dec ”
“ Our first visit and it was great! Staff are friendly and accommodating. Appetizers are huge portions. We had the BEST onion rings weve ever had. We had the July special pizza and the BuffalOclock. Both were very good. One was a little overdone and dry. They offered to remake it but we didnt want to waste it. Beer was mostly good. Our favourite was the 1874 IPA. Overall a grand experience. ”
“ Ive come here to see the band Rose Alley play the music of the Jerry Garcia Band on Jerrys birthday celebration. Discovered a really nice venue with good food, excellent service and a nice audience outside on the patio. Will definitely keep an eye on their calendar if theyre playing acts like this I look forward to coming back soon. ”
